  5. Masukkan ke dalam periuk, bumbu yang dikisar, pes cili, daun kesum, bunga kantan, serai, halia, asam keping, air didihan ikan, ikan yang dilumat, kacau rata, dan rebuskan kuah menggunakan api kecil.
  6. Cairkan asam jawa, masukkan ke dalam kuah, masukkan gula pasir, garam, dan serbuk ayam, didihkan lagi dan betulkan rasa. Pastikan kuah laksa dimasak dengan lama, untuk mendapatkan rasa yang sedap.
  7. Cari menghidang: Tuangkan ke dalam mangkuk hidangan, mee laksa, nanas, timun, salad, hirisan bawang merah, daun pudina, kemudian siramkan dengan kuah laksa yang mendidih. Tambahkan hirisan cili padi, perahan limau nipis/kasturi dan pes udang. Hidangkan semasa masih panas..
